Friday October 27-29 Mindfulness Health & Healing Weekend Retreat (for Health Care Providers, Caregivers and People Experiencing Illness). Mindfulness practice opens up the possibility of being more fully present in each moment, strenghtening our capacity to awareness, compassion and skillful action. It is a way to work directly with the challenges of daily life and the stress and pain of illness and/or caregiving, rediscovering a basic sense of healthiness. This weekend retreat will include instruction in mindfulness and compassion practices, led by Mary Campbell, a senior mental health clinical nurse specialist and meditation instructor.
