Argyle Baptist Church, 1900 (left); Lower Argyle Baptist Church, 1930 (right)

The photograph on the left shows the Argyle United Baptist Church around 1910. The construction of the church shown here began in 1877 and was dedicated for divine worship ten years later on January 9, 1887. The picture on the right shows the former Lower Argyle Baptist Church. Sadly, the Lower Argyle church waas demolished around 1975. This photo was taken by an unknown amateur photographer around 1930.
